2D HPE™ Double Gel NF Kit is a complete kit comprising 4 plastic-backed gels, including running and equilibration buffers, FS wicks, and cooling contact fluid. It is designed for two-dimensional horizontal electrophoresis workflows.
The kit is suitable for running 2 × 11 cm IPG strips plus 1 marker lane by horizontal electrophoresis on HPE™™ BlueTower, HPE™™ BlueHorizon, or Multiphor II™ systems.
The gels are supplied on NF backing, providing optimal results for fluorescent staining and labelling. The system can also be used for silver and Coomassie® staining; however, standard backings are recommended for best results with these methods.
Available concentration formats include 10–15% and 12.5% gels.
