NucSpot® 470 Nuclear Stain

NucSpot 470 Nuclear Stain is a fluorescent DNA dye that does not penetrate intact cell membranes, making it suitable for selective nuclear labeling. This dye exhibits low background fluorescence until bound to DNA and is compatible with no-wash protocols. In fixed and permeabilized cells, NucSpot 470 Nuclear Stain specifically stains the nucleus without the need for RNase treatment. It can also be used to identify non-viable cells in live cultures through cell health assays, fluorescence imaging, or flow cytometry. NucSpot 470 can be used for DNA content analysis of cell cycle by flow cytometry in fixed and permeabilized cells without requiring RNase treatment, unlike propidium iodide.
