FocusGel 6–11 is a ready-to-use horizontal gel for isoelectric focusing (IEF) covering the pH range 6–11. It is a 0.65 mm thick precast polyacrylamide gel bound to GEL-FIX™™ support film for isoelectric focusing.
The gels are non-toxic, as catalysts and other non-polymerized substances such as acrylamide monomers are removed from the matrix. They contain a special SERVALYT™™ cocktail designed to achieve an optimal pH gradient.
Electrode solutions and electrode strips are not required, as the electrodes are placed directly on the gel surface.
All variants have a gel size of 250 × 115 × 0.65 mm.
FocusGel 6–11 24S includes 24 sample slots (25 µl each), designed for standard sample application and parallel analysis.
FocusGel 6–11 40S includes 40 sample slots (12 µl each), enabling higher throughput with smaller sample volumes per lane.
