



Researchers can count on the reliability and sensitivity of fluorescence detection on LICORbio® imaging systems. Our imaging systems are used to make critical measurements/decisions and often experience intensive use over many years. Therefore, researchers can use verification plate scans to ensure that they understand the consistency and uniformity of fluorescence detection on their instrument over time and to see if there are any changes that they may need to monitor closely or get diagnosed by a LICORbio service technician.
This plate has two areas of illumination/detection that can be imaged by the user to confirm that their LICORbio Atlas™ Imager, Odyssey M Imager, or Odyssey F Imager is performing as expected and has not changed in performance over time.
By use of the fluorescent glass signal that is unchanging over time, the verification plate is used to verify that your LICORbio Imager is detecting signal uniformly across the scan surface and consistently over time.
The verification plate is scanned at each corner of the imager's scan surface, and signal from the wells is quantified/analyzed to verify consistent CVs across different wells on the plate and across scans of the same well from each corner.
