SERVA HPE™ IPG Overlay is an overlay oil used to cover IPG strips during high-voltage isoelectric focusing of proteins. It is designed for use in high-resolution 2D gel electrophoresis.
The overlay has no influence on the separation behavior of the IPG strip and supports consistent focusing performance.
Its use is an important factor for achieving sharp protein spots in high-resolution 2D gel electrophoresis.
A separate dropping bottle is included to allow easy application of the oil.
