Horizontal precast polyacrylamide gels (PAG layer 300 µm) for isoelectric focusing (IEF), size 125 × 125 mm, supplied in packs of 5 gels.
The ultra-thin gel layer ensures short focusing times as well as reduced staining and destaining times, while delivering high resolution and sharp band definition.
The gels are cast on a stable, inert polyester support film, which provides easy handling despite the thin layer and protects the gel matrix from mechanical damage such as tearing.
A thin protective cover sheet (GEL-FIX™™ for covers) prevents the gel surface from drying out and protects it against damage during storage and handling.
